ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER

Job Description and Requirements


Purpose of the Job (Overall accountability)
To define, develop and implement marketing, promotions and communications procedures in line with Company's objectives to ensure the reach of the exhibitions is maximized to both exhibitors and visitors.
Principal responsibilities / accountabilities
Prepare drop schedules for every ECS event and ensure that the activities for both exhibitors and visitors are carried out in a timely manner.
Maintain relationship with the local, regional and international media.Compile and maintain up to date data on all media.
Prepare news briefs in coordination with the project manager of each event and coordinate with the copywriter in the preparation of Press releases.
Disseminate press releases to English media, follow up and ensure publication of news and final media monitoring and reporting.
Organization of press conferences whenever required. Coordinate and arrange press invites for press conferences, opening ceremony etc.
Focus on social media i.e., face book, twitter, LinkedIn etc to promote ECS as well as individual events. Will be responsible to maintain and update the relevant media.
Develop and implement advertisement and promotion strategy for attracting the participants and spreading awareness about ECS.
Develop and oversee the implementation of marketing communications strategy in order to ensure the required marketing messages consistently reach Client audiences.
Plan for advertising and exhibition promotion activities (including exhibition brochure, manual, trade invites and other materials) along with the relevant Sales department personnel. Will be responsible for the production of material on time in coordination with the sales and design departments.
Responsible for ensuring all marketing research related to the exhibitor preferences, impact of the various promotions and advertisement, customer satisfaction survey are carried out in a timely and efficient manner and within the budget. Also, be aware of the competitor activities and plan accordingly.
Ensure the development and maintenance of the brand image and positioning of ECS in line with its business objectives.
Ensure Direct Marketing activities like sending invites to the exhibitors as well as visitors are carried out in a timely manner to maximize participation of the visitors.
Ensure timely preparation of the design of the brochure/flyers/invitation and other material to be sent to exhibitors and the Client audience.
To be present at the Opening Ceremony of all events and also to be available, when required to meet Media personnel during the exhibition dates of all events.
Prepare a PR file for each event and compile all the media promotion that includes news releases, editorials or Advertisements that appear for the respective event.
To identify the responses that we receive for all Media Advertising Print, Outdoor or Air through surveys and submit a report to Director Marketing in order to wisely plan and channelize our future media plan for effective reach to the Client audience.
