REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (MIDDLE EAST REGION)

Job Description and Requirements


Position Summary: 

The Regional Sales Manager is a key commercial role in Company's Environmental and Process Monitoring business unit. The postholder is required to utilize their expertise in leading all selling and commercial activities for all industries in relation to the full EPM product range of sensors, process mass spectrometry, UV spectroscopy and air quality monitoring instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Promote the business for the assigned products and territory to realize the annual operating plan bookings and revenue
  • Direct the account management activities for the territory to drive account expansion and penetration; develop long term relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and current records of proposals, opportunities, accounts, contacts, leads and actions through CRM system
  • Interface directly with important customers to lead or assist with the selling process
  • Lead key account activities for high value accounts
  • Plan, organize and accurately forecast territory results on a weekly basis
  • Work directly with Customer Support function to ensure that quotations, order entry and customer support processes are efficient and supportive of assigned industry customers and sales team needs
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to identify and assess new opportunities for existing products as well as opportunities for new product development
  • Interface with Field Service to exchange customer information and ensure adequate support of the account base


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 

  • BS / MS degree (or equivalent) in a technical discipline
  • Significant process analytical experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience in managing independent selling channels as assigned
  • Experience in working strategic accounts key account development and selling skills is a plus
  • A proven track record in achieving sales quotas
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must be a team player with ability to interface across internal and external complex matrix organizations
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate with key stakeholders
  • Availability for up to 60% business travel
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
