ELECTRICAL QUALITY INSPECTOR

Job Description and Requirements

Job Purpose:
Ensures that elevators and moving systems are safe for use and conform to requirements by preparing and conducting inspections, identifying snags, recommending compliance procedures, documenting results and following up on snags removal.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Contributes to achieving department's business objectives by meeting assigned goals.
  2. Inspects the elevators and moving systems at the end of the second phase of installation to determine that equipment is in safe operating condition and complies with approved plans and installation standards and quality.
  3. Identifies snags and issues an inspection report every after inspection and submit it to the Installation person in charge.
  4. Inspects the product after removal of all snags and once corrections are made and report the result to the Installation person in charge.
  5. Provides technical assistance for snags removal technicians.
  6. Coordinates with Installation and Maintenance Departments for all issues related to snags.
  7. Demonstrates superior seamless customer service by being punctual, courteous, efficient and thorough.
  8. Adheres to and ensures employees adhere to all EMS safety guidelines and procedures.


Minimum Requirement:

  • Minimum five years of experience as an Elevator Electrical Inspector or as an Elevator Mechanic skilled in the installation and/or maintenance of elevator.
  • Ability to communicate in the English language fluently.
  • Ability to produce written reports in the English language with clearly organized thought using proper sentence construction, punctuation, and grammar.
