Job Description and Requirements


The E & I Fitter shall work in workshop or travel to other locations for the installation repair, maintenance, of all electrical and instruments associated with gas compression packages.
The E & I fitter should be able to read electrical drawings and P & ID's.
Be able to gland, terminate cables and run instrument tubing.
He will be responsible to follow safe working procedures and proper tool handing as per workings standards.

Key Reas of Responsibility:

  • To participate toolbox meeting before executing any routine or repair works on site / workshop.
  • Comply with QA, HSE policies, procedures and rules, including site specific
  • Wear and use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Identify material, resources & critical spare parts requirement prior to perform any task assigned by site /workshop supervisor.
  • To follow standard work procedure formats to complete the assembly / Client-assembly or any other task assign

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Personal Attributes:


  • 3 Year trained workshop technician to diploma level
  • Have the skills to work directly from drawings and P & ID's
  • Having knowledge to follow and complete standard workshop / site formats
  • Ability to work under pressure within a team environment, professional attitude and able to work long working hours.
  • Ability to do extensive Traveling on various part of the world on short notice


  • Working experience of Waukesha and Ariel Compressor packages.
  • Knowledge of gas engine operation
  • Fluent in English Language
