SERVICE ENGINEER

Job Description and Requirements

Job Purpose:

Manage and handle all technical and quality related issues. Assist the Workshop Manager to carry out the daily routine operation in the workshop.

Dimension:

Should be relevant to the job being described and will include such things as:

  • Annual Operating Expenses

  • Annual Capital Expenditure

  • Value of Assets Managed

  • Annual Revenue Annual Gross or net Margin

  • Number of employees reporting to the position and the overall total employees for which the position may be responsible.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Quality Investigation Report (QIR) to be reported to the Manufacture as per policy.

  • Follow up QIR feedback from the Manufacturer and to get the QIS.

  • Do all jobs assigned by him by the Service Manager.

  • Keep Technical Service Bulletins and Workshop manuals updated.

  • Assist the Service Manager in handling warranty operation.

  • Assist the Workshop Manager in solving the customer complaints.

  • Provide Market Feed back to the Manufacturer on reported complaints and quality problems.

  • To prepare some studies for business development as and when required.

  • Keeping of Technical Records.
