Job Description and Requirements

As the successful candidate you will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related specialty from a leading university.
  • At least 3 years of industrial experience in system administration of Microsoft servers and SharePoint. Certifications in relevant areas is desirable.
  • Experience in system architecture especially for clustered environments based on Microsoft products.
  • Experience in working with virtualization, especially knowledge of Microsoft System Center is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management at all levels within the organization. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Ability to document work and produce system manuals, user guides, and training material.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

  • Migrate the SharePoint CPDocs system from a single server architecture to a multi-server architecture with increased availability and scalability, compliant with Aramco IT guidelines for SharePoint installations.
  • Be responsible for backup, recovery drills, and other mechanisms required to guarantee data retention and availability.
  • Do performance studies and troubleshooting, to ensure availability and usability of the document management system.
  • Maintain technology know-how and future trends regarding Microsoft products for content management, such as SharePoint.
