Corporate Stage-Gate Process Specialist

Job Description and Requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have a bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering discipline. An advance degree (MBA/Finance) preferable.
You should have at least 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of experience in commercial technology development and/or venturing, preferably with a wide range of industrial experience and expertise across variety of technology-driven industries.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

Engage with R&D staff, technology management, business partners, and supporting corporate functions, to ensure alignment across all areas and to support a smooth transition and adoption of the enhanced processes.

Provide leadership for technical scientist, functional specialist, and commercial business lines, to ensure alignment and provide solutions across technical and commercial issues.

Be accountable for the managing corporate stage-gate process, including ongoing implementation to support technology development and deployment initiatives, and technology transition to operations.

Provide guidance for related activates, including execution of IP and commercial strategy, supply chain development, deployment planning, economics, and business case development.

Work with commercial leads to selected high-priority projects, via the development of business case and deployment strategies.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to fully engage and actively debate and persuade across all levels of the organization, including executive management. 

Support IP strategy for new technology programs (i.e., develop deployment strategy, business model, etc.).

Support financial reporting for deployed technologies to ensure value capture.

Responsible for auditing stage-gate practices and ongoing related activities to ensure compliance across the Company.

Coach, mentor, and create in-depth training programs to support capability building.
