Document Controller

Job Description and Requirements

SUMMARY: 

To 
maintain records and oversee documentation requirements related to operation and projects to 
facilitate efficient functioning of the organization. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for reporting, maintaining and controlling documents and records related to all operational functions and projects.
  • Ensure all technical documents, such as reports, drawings and blueprints, are collected and registered in system.
  • Responsible for submission and retrieval of records and documents specific to products and projects.
  • Use ERP system for activities related to recording and reporting data. Notify relevant departments and personnel on document updates and revisions and maintain master list.
  • Maintain Training records of all employees, as per management system requirement.
  • Administration activities include collecting, reporting, distribution, printing, filing, reconciling, scanning, data entry processing and uploading documents as per set system procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Client teams for controlling project specific document transmittals.
  • Request and maintain office inventory and supply necessary to meet operational demands.
  • Back up to front desk.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • All other office duties assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in documents or records management
  • Good office relationship. Ability to work under pressure, both independently and in teams
  • Working experience and Knowledge of Quality Management system – ISO9001
  • Computer skills to work on Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point and other functions
  • Should be able to communicate in English (Speak, Read and Write).

· Office and factory environment involve administrative and clerical duties.
