Digital Media Buying Manager - Customer & Marketing Communications - Kuwait

Job Description and Requirements

         Create and manage media buying campaigns across biddable platforms (Facebook, Google, Yandex etc.) focused on maximising ROI

         Optimise campaigns based on agreed objectives and targets

         Work across multiple brands and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of tasks

         Monitor day to day performance and budgets across all campaigns against KPI.

         Adopt and implement a ‘test and learn’ culture by utilising A/B and multivariate testing.

         Work closely with the India based team to understand brand priorities and improve campaign performance and help to develop internal benchmarks.

         Support the creation of media plans based on insights derived from historical campaigns.           

         Support the development and implementation of media buying tools

         Keep abreast of industry news and developments

         Manage a team of media buying executives and coordinators



         Strong analytical and numerical skills and ideally in-depth knowledge of analytics tools such as Doubleclick and GA

         Effective communicator who will be able to take complex solutions and distil them into simple to understand, business-related scenarios.

         Thorough understanding of the technical setup required to efficiently monitor and report on digital campaigns  

         Working knowledge of bid management systems

         Expert skills on delivering results for multiple stakeholders

         Wider knowledge of the digital marketing channels, such as affiliation, mobile, web and email and how these integrate from a strategic point of view would be ideal



         3+ years media buying experience from operational roles – agency or client-side

         Experience managing large scale media buying campaigns ideally across multiple brands within the retail sector

         Proven skills in improving media buying performance and growing revenue

         Commercially savvy and experience managing activity against sales/revenue targets

         Team player with a collaborative approach and confidence to challenge ways of working when appropriate

         Experience managing teams

         Innovative and passionate about digital marketing in general and media buying in particular
