Trade & Cash Management Sales

Job Description and Requirements
  • job summary and objectives:-

Drive cash and trade business development for defined portfolio of clients within industry sectors or business segments to deliver revenue targets.
Identify product gaps or new product opportunities to influence the development of key new product services initiatives and more cost effective delivery channels.
Prepare trade cycle analysis papers and provide input to credit applications in conjunction with the coverage team, aligned with defined strategy and engage with colleagues in product, sales support, and risk as appropriate.

  • Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver sales strategy and secure strategic internal support from stakeholders, in conjunction with the Head Trade & Cash Management and Country Head of Commercial Banking, in order to identify and satisfy customer needs and to achieve revenue and asset growth/asset quality targets.
Drive cash and trade business development for defined portfolio of clients within industry sectors or business segments to deliver revenue targets;
Prepare trade cycle analysis papers and provide input to credit applications in conjunction with the coverage team, aligned with defined strategy and engage with colleagues in product, sales support, and risk as appropriate;
Identify product gaps or new product opportunities to influence the development of key new product services initiatives and more cost effective delivery channels;
Continuously engage the coverage and client management teams to regularly review the account plans arising from the clients evolving business requirements;
Lead/participate in the development of trade and cash related RFIs and RFPs;
Actively manage deal pipeline, and support the active management of the trade portfolio as required;
Continuously engage clients to keep abreast of their evolving business priorities, as well as their working capital and treasury;
Stay updated on the industry/sector competitive and regulatory landscapes to enable proactive advisory/engagement with clients;
Support bank-wide initiatives/events across Trade & Cash Management franchise;
Participate in driving digital engagement across the franchise to support the clients’ digital agendas.

  • Requirements:

Experience in originating cash and trade opportunities and leading RFI/RFP responses;
Technical understanding of trade and supply chain products. Minimum 5 year experience in a trade sales or product management capacity;
Good rapport-building, networking, and communication skills with experience in engaging clients at a decision-maker level;
Strong analytical and writing skills;
Deep knowledge of risk profile and regulatory treatment of Trade and Cash Management as well as portfolio management practices;
Open-minder, inquisitive, and adaptable to business transformation.
