Corporate Stage-Gate Process Specialist

As the successful candidate, you will have a bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering discipline. An advance degree (MBA/Finance) preferable.
You should have at least 15 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of experience in commercial technology development and/or venturing, preferably with a wide range of industrial experience and expertise across variety of technology-driven industries.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:

  • Engage with R&D staff, technology management, business partners, and supporting corporate functions, to ensure alignment across all areas and to support a smooth transition and adoption of the enhanced processes.
  • Provide leadership for technical scientist, functional specialist, and commercial business lines, to ensure alignment and provide solutions across technical and commercial issues.
  • Be accountable for the managing corporate stage-gate process, including ongoing implementation to support technology development and deployment initiatives, and technology transition to operations.
  • Provide guidance for related activates, including execution of IP and commercial strategy, supply chain development, deployment planning, economics, and business case development.
  • Work with commercial leads to selected high-priority projects, via the development of business case and deployment strategies.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to fully engage and actively debate and persuade across all levels of the organization, including executive management. 
  • Support IP strategy for new technology programs (i.e., develop deployment strategy, business model, etc.).
  • Support financial reporting for deployed technologies to ensure value capture.
  • Responsible for auditing stage-gate practices and ongoing related activities to ensure compliance across the Company.
  • Coach, mentor, and create in-depth training programs to support capability building.
