SALES ENGINEER - EQUIPMENT SALES

Job Purpose:
To sell company products, maintain a fair market share and keep improving it.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Sells equipments to all sectors whether they are private companies, government department or individuals.
  2. Maintains an excellent technical knowledge about the company products.
  3. Finds new prospects through media or by cold calls and try to turn them into clients.
  4. Stays in constant touch with department head for guidance, reviews outstanding quotations, updates on the market and advises improvement of system in order to comply with the quality policy.
  5. Gathers information about competitor's products, catalogues, prices, advantages and disadvantages awareness.
  6. Acts as a link between client and service department in order to ensure total customer satisfaction.
  7. Follows up on the collection of outstanding payment. In case of any default, reports the case to the department head.
  8. Convinces the customer post sales to take service/maintenance contract.
  9. Submits weekly and monthly, customer visit, inquiry logs and weekly planner and quotation status report to the upper management.
  10. Attends weekly sales meeting.


Minimum Requirement:

  • B. Sc in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in industrial and construction equipment sales
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical thinking, articulate personality and ability to work under pressure
  • Sales & product training
  • Presentable
  • Arabic language is an added value
  • UAE driving license
